Review: This is the first book by this author I have read and I picked it up through Netgalley. I was a bit worried when I realized I’d be diving into the middle of a series but I wasn’t disappointed. This was such a fun adventure with gun slinging smart-mouthed women and broodingly arrogant men who think they are God’s gift to women but tout they have no heart to give. From the moment she falls into his orchestrated trap at the train station and doesn’t act like the spoiled rich debutant, I knew this was going to be a fun read. I loved it. Every single second of it was full of witty banter, tense emotional moments, great adventure, and just overall an awesome plot and characters. I will go back and read at least Liam and Mena’s story being they played a big role in this one. Totally a great read.
