throwbackthursdayThrowback Thursday is a new meme hosted by Buried Under Romance and Love
Saves The World, and since I just love Historical Romance I decided to
participate.

What is Throwback Thursday? Traditionally, Throwback Thursday celebrates nostalgia, asking participants to post a personal photo or image from their past–usually from 5 to 10 years ago. There are a lot of book blogs that also do a book related Throwback Thursday.

Here Are The Rules: 1. It must be posted on a Thursday. 2. It must be a historical romance novel published before October 3, 2008

My Candidate For This Week

Daughter of Fire (Merlin’s Legacy #1) by Quinn Taylor Evans A.K.A. Carla Simpson

Published: 1996Daughter of Fire 2

Synopsis: Set in England in the time of William the Conqueror, the first novel in this marvelous series that explores what might have been if Merlin had had three beautiful daughters, each possessing just a touch of magic, resolved to use her special skills to battle evil, and determined to find love.

They are the daughters of destiny, born of a kingdom forged in fire and blood, bound by a legacy of magic and love shrouded in the swirling mists of legend.

Daughter of Fire is the first book in the Legacy Series.

Vivian: The magic of the ages flows through her blood. She is the firstborn daughter of the great sorcerer, Merlin. Possessed of the gift of second sight, she is haunted by an ancient curse that prevents her from ever knowing love. Then, in a vision, she sees a magnificent Norman knight riding across a battle-scarred England.Daughter of Fire1

Rorke FitzWarren has come to Amesbury to find the legendary healer whose powers could save his wounded sovereign, William, Duke of Normandy. Although fate has made Rorke and Vivian enemies, from the moment they meet an unquenchable passion flames to life. On a quest that takes him to a hidden world beyond the mists, Rorke will begin a search for a legendary sword and battle the forces of darkness to claim Vivian for his own.

This series is so old that the paperback version and the eBook version have different covers, different pages, and different publication dates.

I absolutely loved this series and I think it was the series that introduced me to Paranormal Romances.
